The Camas-Washougal Fire Department placed a fire hose on the outskirts of Hamllik Park on Thursday and Friday, August 16 and 17, creating a fountain of spray for the local children.

Division Chief/Fire Marshall Ron Schumacher was on hand, talking with members of the community and providing fun items for the local children as they beat the heat.  The temperature topped out at almost 100 degrees, as those seeking relief splashed and ran under the arching water at 4285 Addy Street in Washougal.
